Every interview is unique and will bring new insights to your project, but having a template to get you started on the more commonly asked questions will save time and cover the bases for you.
Instructions
- First, you should write out a description of the project and the goals from a perspective that your interviewee will understand and resonate with. This is where you can explain why you’re asking to talk with them and how they will make the project better.
- Next, fill in the facts, objectives, emotions, and ideas with questions you created in your Research Questionnaire. We added a few to get you started.
- Remember to ask at the end of the interview if there was anything they wanted to say that hasn’t been covered – they may have been waiting for the right time to tell you something.
- Lastly, thank your interviewee and give them a form of contact if they want to reach out with more information or questions.
